Position Description: Bookkeeper

 

Purpose of Position:
The ideal candidate will perform administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, meeting and contacting vendors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing. Extensive software skills, Internet research abilities and strong communication skills are required.
Essential Functions:

  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms control, office layout, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing changes
  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
  • Process wires/ach’s
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Regular & Ad Hoc Reports (P&L, Balance Sheet)
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Administrative assistant experience minimum 1 year
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Type 50-60 WPM
  • General Quickbooks knowledge
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Bookkeeping background

Position Description: New Accounts Representative

 

Purpose of Position:

To assist the New Accounts Manager in a rapidly moving department with room for growth. Must be a team player, demonstrate the ability to multi-task while maintaining a neat and highly organized work environment, be extremely accurate, be able to prioritize, and manage time effectively. All applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment as well as having social awareness. The ideal candidate must be a problem solver, goal-orientated, assertive, confident, socially aware, and a problem solver.

 

Essential Job Functions:
• Provide World Famous Customer Service
• Perform heavy data entry
• Understand the New Accounts process
• Have a clear understanding of forms, paperwork, and communicating information efficiently   with clients and co-workers

  • Identify client needs, researching every issue, and providing solutions and answers
  • Internal Auditing of the New Accounts Department
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks which include copying, scanning, printing, and mailing
  • May assist in special projects
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls in a timely manner while maintaining daily work load

Quest IRA specializes in self-directed IRAs, 401(k)s and other qualified plans that allow you to purchase an invest in private assets like Real Estate, Promissory Notes, and Oil and Gas, just to name a few.

 

Purpose of Position: An internal auditor must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and those contacted in the course of the audit process without sacrificing integrity or impartiality in reporting the company’s deficiencies. As well as be sensitive to confidential information and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Applicants must have good analytical and decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation. Applicant must successfully manage multiple audits concurrently. Most of all, the applicant must be self-motivated, goal oriented, dependable, loyal, be exceptionally detail-orientated, a team player, energetic, effective, have a sense of urgency, takes initiative, is able to prioritize, face-paced, has excellent time management skills, unflappable,  and mathematical.

 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Required to perform operational and financial audits of the various functions in the company to evaluate and determine the adequacy of internal control and ensure efficient and effective operating procedures. These audits will result in exposure to sensitive information (both company and personal) that will need to be treated in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Complete internal audit projects designed around management’s assessment of risk, process improvements and strengthening of internal controls.
  • Responsible for assisting in the execution of the internal audit engagement which includes:
    • Working closely with transactions and accounting management and staff in understanding the objectives and processing performed in the functional area.
    • Evaluates and documents the adequacy of internal controls
    • Evaluates and documents the effectiveness and efficiency of current operating procedures.
    • Participates in the establishment or strengthening of internal controls and
    • Observing, documenting, and evaluating current operations; and identifying existing and potential problem areas.
    • Identifying and documenting causes or contributing factors relating to problems and root cause analysis.
    • Develops recommendations to correct control deficiencies, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operating procedures.
    • Maintain audit documents in an orderly and secure manner.
    • Assembles and prepares audit work papers for review by Internal Audit Manager
  • Train in Salesforce and TNET
  • May occasionally be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description

 

Requirements:

  • Professional appearance
  • Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skill for the application of auditing and data processing functions, including MS Excel, Access, Word and Power Point.
  • Type a minimum of 50-60 WPM (a typing test will be administered)
  • Have intermediate to advance math skills
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Willingness to grow and accept new challenges
  • Available to work full-time (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm)
  • Reliable mode of transportation
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs

 

Education:

  • College (4 year degree preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of IRAs prefered
